Setting sail in 1967, we're proud to be London's ORIGINAL organiser of the ticketed boat party. Launching on the London party scene as the 'Riverboat Shuffle', it went on to became the 'Riverboat Disco Cruise' , then the 'Thames Party Boat Cruise'. In 2019 we re-branded as the 'ORIGINAL' London Boat Party to highlight our credibility and history as London's No. 1 boat party. Regretfully there are some Pirates out there who have muddied the water, with inaccurate claims, subsequently making it misleading and confusing for the customer who is seeking confidence making a booking. Whilst our company name has changed with the business' growth, from 'Floating Enterprises' to 'Mainstream Leisure' and now to 'Thames Boat Cruises & Events', we've stayed consistent to our values' offering simplicity through excellent customer service and an unrivaled value for money party. Although, we can't offer 1973's price of £1.40pp! (see an old ticket below)

Consider this a 'thank you' for all your efforts! We also offer flexible payment options and group discounts, all with the view of making the booking process 'plain sailing'! And if you’ve seen a similar cruise on another website, you probably have. We have numerous party planning Agents and Suppliers that trust us with their groups. So even if you don’t book with us directly, there’s a likelihood that we’ll still be welcoming you aboard our ship.
Due to our market position as boat party experts, we're able to use the biggest fleet of London party boats and offer the biggest selection of dates for you to book. We run all year round and add more dates during the busy Christmas party season. Having owned boats ourselves, we have unrivaled relationships with many of the Captains and Crews, enabling us to offer the best price and incredible value!
The 'Original London Boat Party' is a brand of our parent company; Thames Boat Cruises & Events Limited - incorporating Mainstream Leisure. The Company has many ropes to its sails and offers a wide range of river cruise experiences on the Thames, in London and beyond (as far as Henley Upon Thames). From Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner Cruises, to special calendar events such as Henley Royal Regatta, Exclusive Christmas Parties and New Year's Eve Celebrations. We also organise hundreds of bespoke exclusive private hire events each year, with boats ranging in capacity from 2 to 620, appealing to a range of budgets.
